Indore Metro Timeline: From 6 km to 17 km (2025-26)
Short answer: This Indore Metro timeline starts on 31 May 2025, when the first section of the Yellow Line opened. The line was extended to Radisson Square, with public service from 6 September 2026. Today 16 of 29 stations are open, about 17.3 km of the planned 33.53 km.

Key dates in the Indore Metro timeline
- 31 May 2025: the first priority section opened (about 6 km, 5 stations, around Super Corridor).
- 5 to 6 September 2026: the extension of about 11 km up to Radisson Square (Malviya Nagar Chauraha) was inaugurated, and regular public service started on 6 September 2026. The open line grew from about 6 km to about 17 km, with 16 stations.
- 25 September 2026: MPMRCL's revised timetable came into force: Monday to Saturday 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM, and a shorter Sunday and holiday timetable. See timings and Indore Metro Sunday timing.
- 11 October 2026: festive ticket offers started, with extra discounts on single, return and group tickets. See discounts and offers.

What is still to come in the Indore Metro timeline
