Indore Metro FAQs

The Indore Metro Yellow Line runs Monday to Saturday from 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM, with trains approximately every 15 minutes. On Sundays and Public Holidays the service runs on reduced hours: from Gandhi Nagar first at 12:50 PM, last at 8:10 PM; from Malviya Nagar first at 1:00 PM, last at 9:00 PM. Timings are effective from 25 Sep 2026.

Indore Metro fares are approximate and distance-based, ranging from around ₹10 to ₹60 depending on the number of stations you travel. Note: the official revised fare chart has not yet been published — fares at ticket counters may differ. Confirm your fare at the counter or in the MPMRCL app before travelling. You can pay using the MPMRCL Mobile App, UPI, QR Code, or e-Wallet.

Trains run at roughly 15-minute intervals during operational hours on the extended corridor, so you rarely wait long on the platform.

The Yellow Line will have 29 stations along a circular corridor of about 33.5 km, running from Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Terminal to the Airport. As of September 2026, 16 stations are operational over ~17 km, up to Radisson Square.

As of 6 September 2026, 16 stations are operational on the Yellow Line, from Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Terminal to Radisson Square (Malviya Nagar Chauraha) across roughly 17 km. This covers the Super Corridor stations, Bhawarshala Square, MR 10 Road, ISBT/MR 10 Flyover, Chandragupta Square, Hira Nagar, Bapat Square, Meghdoot Garden and Vijay Nagar Square. The remaining stations onward to the Airport are under construction.

Yes. Stations are equipped with lifts, escalators, tactile paths and wheelchair-accessible facilities, along with public toilets and drinking water.

The full Yellow Line is planned to connect Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport and Indore Junction railway station, making airport and train transfers easy once those sections open.
