Editorial policy

myindoremetro.com is an independent guide to the Indore Metro. We are not MPMRCL and we are not part of any government body. We write for people who ride, or plan to ride, the metro: timings, fares, stations, offers and how things work.

We use sources in this order, and we name them in the article.

1. MPMRCL, the operator. Its website (mpmetrorail.com), notices displayed at stations, and its official accounts such as @officialindoremetro on Instagram.
2. Other government sources. Press releases and official documents.
3. Reputable news reports with a date and a named outlet. We use them for events, not for numbers we can check at the source.
4. What we can see ourselves. For example a notice at a station. We say clearly when a fact comes from this.

We write in our own words. We do not copy articles from other websites.

• Timings, fares, discounts and station facts are checked against the operator's own notice before we publish.
• If sources disagree, or the operator has not said something, we say so instead of guessing. You will see lines like “no end date was given”.
• Numbers on the site come from one place in our code, so two pages cannot show different times for the same train.
• Every article shows when it was published and when it was last reviewed.

Metro details change. We review key pages when MPMRCL announces a change, and we update the date shown on the page.

If you find a mistake, tell us through the contact page or at myindoremetro@gmail.com. We aim to check it within two working days. When we correct something important, we say what changed.

• Ads, sponsored places and featured listings are always labelled (“Ad”, “Promoted”).
• Payment never changes a fact, a timing, a fare or a news article.
• We only list real places. We do not invent ratings or reviews.

We may use software tools, including AI tools, to help with research, drafting and formatting. A person on our team checks the facts against the sources above before anything is published. Tools do not decide what is true.
