Indore Metro Ticket Discount: Return, Group and Festive Offers

Short answer: The Indore Metro ticket discount on a return ticket is 5%, and on a group ticket it is 10%. Regular Indore Metro ticket discount

• Return ticket: 5% off.
• Group ticket: 10% off.
• e-Wallet recharge bonus: extra balance added when you recharge in the MP Metro app.

Free Press Journal listed the return and group discounts when the new ticket system started in April 2026. MPMRCL repeated them in its timetable post of 24 September 2026.

e-Wallet bonus, with examples

• ₹200 – ₹499: 8% bonus
• ₹500 – ₹999: 10% bonus
• ₹1,000 – ₹1,499: 12% bonus
• ₹1,500 – ₹2,000: 15% bonus

For example, a ₹1,000 recharge gives a 12% bonus of ₹120, so you get ₹1,120 to spend. Similarly, a ₹500 recharge gives a 10% bonus of ₹50, so you get ₹550 to spend. And a ₹200 recharge gives a 8% bonus of ₹16, so you get ₹216 to spend.

One rule to remember: money in the app wallet can be used only to buy metro tickets. It cannot be withdrawn or refunded. So recharge only what you will use.

Festive Indore Metro ticket discount from 11 October 2026

MPMRCL announced the festive offer for Bhopal and Indore metro riders on its official Instagram.

• Single journey ticket: 25% additional discount. It does not apply to the ₹20 single journey ticket.
• Return journey ticket: 30% total discount.
• Group ticket: 35% total discount.
• e-Wallet recharge: 8% to 15% bonus. Digital tickets work with UPI and QR code.

MPMRCL's Instagram post gave no end date. Dainik Jagran (30 October 2026) reports the scheme runs till 31 December 2026. Check the MP Metro app before you travel.

How many people make a group?

In April 2026, news reports said a group meant 8 to 40 people. In October 2026, MPMRCL said a group ticket is available with just 2 passengers, and Dainik Jagran also reports that two passengers can now form a group. So today, two people travelling together can ask for a group ticket and get the group ticket discount. Confirm at the counter or in the app, because rules can change.

How to get the best Indore Metro ticket discount

• Two or more people going together? Ask for a group ticket. It has the biggest discount.
• Going and coming back the same day? A return ticket is cheaper than two single tickets.
• Riding every week? Recharge the e-Wallet. A bigger recharge earns a bigger bonus.
